How Is Maker Gen?

Hi, just want to know how maker gen is going for some of you guys.

It seems like a good network w/ benefits.

I find it very pleasing. If you have dedicated viewers, you could potentially make a lot of money through their offer system. Some offers get you like 3 bucks per viewer that signs up.
 
I might not be much help as even though my gaming channel is part of makergen, I have never had enough views to receive my first payment.
(probably because the last time I uploaded there was over 6 months ago).

However I still log in to MakerGen to user the tools there.
I love the variety of features they give you.

1. You get free access to a variety of royalty free music. This is something I use all the time, you get free access to Audiomicro, which is a great music and sound effects library. What's great about it, is you dont have to pay a penny for any of the music.
You also get access to more music on Epidemic sound.

2. Another awesome tool that you get for free is Epoxy TV. This is a social media tool that usually costs $50 a month however you get it completely free. You can access stats on your videos, see who your fans are and schedule posts. This is a amazing tool which I recommend as not only can you link your youtube, You can link facebook, twitter and instagram. Plus add team members.

3. You also get access to Spreadshirt (where you can set up your own shop) and Fiverr (a marketplace for services), which I havent used yet. But plan to at some point. These may benefit you.

4. The forums. This allows you to connect up with other Maker Gen members and get tips off them.

So these are my favourite things about being part of MakerGen.
I didnt sign up to them for the money, I signed up for the features, as they are great tools.

I hope this helps you in deciding whether to join or not.

The benefits sound very useful, but I might need to increase my viewership to atleast see my first pay check... over wise I'm going to feel like I'm working for free.

I recommend using adsense for a few months until you increase daily viewership. See how adsense is doing over the long run and then based on them numbers, consider signing with maker studios. I regret the decision of signing with a network too earlier. It can be quite discouraging seeing pennies when my adsense was showing dollars.
