The background is plain, maybe add your channel name to it? Or add some pictures or something to represent your channel? Don't spend a lot of time on it tho, because backgrounds are going away pretty soon.

They are changing the layout so it works on all devices (Mobile, Tablets, Computers, Tv).

I'd add a little more personalization to your background by adding more images or designs that are relevant to your channel/theme; but like KGATV was saying I'd concentrate on a banner as well.

You should add something to the sides, maybe pictures of you perhaps? Or something else that is relevant.
