How do you use the "Discussions"-tab?

I use it to post milestones, maybe a few channel schedules. (though About tab is better for that)
There are occasions when a person does something on the tab, like congrulate me. In which case, I reply.
That's actually about it. :cool:

Thank you for the reply.. I haven't really used it yet.. :p
 
Since Youtube changed channel comments to 'Discussions' it ironically killed any discussion I had on my channel. Its a lot easier to reply to people now, but as the discussions are nolonger on the main page it seems users just dont want to do the extra clicks to message me.

I have found my communication outside of youtube has increased a lot more as I am now talking to people more on Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus and here.

Personally I feel Youtube has shot themselves in the foot with this one, Its driven the users to other platforms as a means to communicate, I mean even the Inbox feature is hard to find...
