How do you organise to upload a video every week / whenever you upload?

Hey, I am a really unorganised person but I love making YouTube videos. I really want to stick to my promise of uploading every Tuesday. So I am just curious if you have any plan or what? Like days you film etc? I just love doing this and I don't want anything to get in the way. I am determined! :happy2:

I can only shoot videos with my friend is town because I use his cameras. I know many channels that do very well without an schedule.

Keep a backlog of videos ready to release when you dont have time to make videos, if you spent a few days or even a week constantly making videos you could end up with enough for a good few months if not more depending on how much time you spend on each.

i put on my camera right, then hit record, then...then...i put it in my computer, then, then i hit upload by smashing my head against the keyboard right, and this process normally leads to a head injury, so when ever i re awake , i attempt to do it again.

Well... I'm a daily vlogger, so what I usually do is, vlog one day. Then upload the footage to Dropbox and edit the next day. Then upload it as scheduled and have it come out the next day. So it's really a 3 day process for me :)

Why are you uploading the footage to Dropbox?

I use a diary planner generally so I pen in what MAIN idea I want to film, be it a craft, gaming, make up...whatever I used to aim for Sunday upload so would film early in the week, however I now just make sure I upload at LEAST once a week, usually more...Maybe having a stash of videos would work for you (as suggested above) if you're really unorganised, a diary planner probably wouldn't help much! So really depends just HOW unorganised you are :P

You don't need to show off by getting technical...some of us aren't there yet [DOUBLEPOST=1386103084,1386103007][/DOUBLEPOST]If you're disorganized I would try to at least preplan. If you write down a few ideas and keep them, then you could film and upload and probably keep your schedule.

Thanks everyone! I will keep some videos behind in case. I couldn't film this week (problem with memory and sd cards) but I found a video which when I filmed it automatically thought I am not using it, but having kept it. It has turn out great and I am extremely happy with it after editing! For the next year I am getting a calendar for the wall, as I will be able to see it. I have planners for school and they never work and I end up losing them... I am determined to do this even though at first it will take a lot of effort and practice!
