How do you manage recorded gameplays for a edit?

Hi guys, I make battlefield 3 trolling videos and montages, I use fraps to record, which means 1GB for every minute. How do I manage those super-long clips that I want to edit and put in to a 4 minute video? How do I remember which parts are good? Do I have to watch the super-long clips again in sony vegas? Right now, what I do is separate the gameplay in to many clips, and delete the ones that arent satisfying, but it ruins my joy on the game.

Thank you.

It's tough. The long way is to write down the time code when you want to use certain parts (like a good part starts at 4:37 and ends at 4:53)

That takes a while, and then you can cut the clips up and render them separately, so you have a bunch of good clips instead of one long one

Is there a easier way to split up clips? Because it takes a while to render them
