I wouldn't go that far. In most cases I see alot of people get more subs and views.

I've seen smaller channels gain views and subs after joining Networks. Don't quote me here, but I'm pretty sure they use they're social network accounts to promote to their contacts and followers, which in-turn gets the partner more views and subs. I'm pretty sure they don't do any labor or hard work, but with MOST Networks, there's usually a decent-solid following that they can easily tap into to give their partner an extra push. That's all I meant by that.

I think he's referring to the occasional case of a partner uploading to a network's hub channel and receiving a lot of exposure, like a small number of Machinima partners have experienced.

Well I think saying that networks cannot help you grow at all is false.

As some do provide some very useful tools to help with growth like Viso Catalyst or Fullscreen's Creator Platform.

BBTV's biggest selling point for Catalyst is their Adwords keyword tool to suggest tags which took them like a year and a half to do.

Actually just logged into Catalyst from an old account I had. It looks like they implemented a collaboration tool similar to what George has been talking about? lol
