Request How do you make an intro?

I want to start up my own channel but I have no clue on how to make an intro. I think that an intro is a very significant part of your video because it gets the person excited for the video. Sort of like a title/summary in a book. Or im geussing the prologue in a book. Does anyone know how to make one?

Depends on what you want from an intro. Some use the same intro for every video. A few seconds is fine. 30 seconds is not. It puts me off and I stop watching any more videos in the channel, or have to skip the first 30secs each time!

I use the intro as just that, an intro. I briefly explain what the video is about in just a sentence or two, then get stuck in. It keeps the viewer interested.

An outro is also a good idea - its a chance to throw up some links to more of your videos, to your channel, or to subscribe etc.
