I have tried uplaoding a couple custom pictures for my banner but none of them are the right size! How do you make them fit youtubes standard?

That's Google's official template ^

I open up Photoshop, make a new file with youtube's recommended dimensions, put a new layer down with the youtube layout, set it to 50% opacity, and then get to work.

ya had the same problem as you nothing looked right, wasn't what you wanted and if it was it just didn't size right, so i started making my own channel art and I've become really addicted to it, if you want i could try and make you one! wouldn't be much trouble just send me a msg or something... good luck with your channel talk to you later :):bounce:

YouTube's banner is 2560x1440.
Use a template to see where you should put your banner's content.

banner size that fits is 2560 x 423 , then you need to create your background with whatever writing fonts ect , then open up a new image in PS/GIMP that is 2560 x 1440 and just open the background you already did as a layer ontop of that , this saves all your measurements and such and is the easiest way to make backgrounds fit to perfection
