How do you feel about a higher dislike ratio?

KiddieToysReview

I Love YTtalk
I was reviewing comments in the dashboard, when someone mentioned they had sent the dislike higher over the likes. Huh I thought, what gives? How can we get more dislikes than likes, our usual ration is 66% likes to 33% dislikes.

So anyways, this particular videos is not so liked. What's your experiences and thoughts on an increasing dislike ratio? I'm not sure how to feel about it honestly....

It's very annoying for me those people who dislike a video without even watching it properly....idk what to do with this kind of people....may be just block them....but I liked your reply...."Congratulations!! An achievements to be truly proud of :-)".....lol

It sucks but at least its a reaction. It's better to have either strong like or dislike reactions rather than no reaction at all on a video in my opinion :)

I think for this particular video, the fact that "pen pineapple apple pen" is in the title will invite dislikes. Often times it's not the video itself people dislike but the fact that anything they don't like is associated with the video. PPAP is polarizing because it's funny to some people and annoying to others.

I agree with the guy above, it does indeed suck but at least its a reaction. Some could be trolls and some may truly dislike the video, see the evidence as you will and use it to grow in your craft

When such things happen, it emits a bad impression.

If I were to watch a video, my first focus is on the likes/dislikes ratio. Not saying that it applies to yours but based on my experience, videos that have dislikes outnumbering the likes tended to be clickbaity, against the norm, uninformative, or a tasteless parody of the original.

... or an official video telling us all about Youtube Heroes. :P

Typically it's something I'd invite, it just shows that something in that particular video upset the majority and sets it up so I know what not to do in the future, sure working out what users dislike about the video can be a pain but typically videos with a lot of dislikes tend to get a lot of "feedback" in the comments which can clear this issue up otherwise it's time to put on your goggles and experimenting with future projects.

But this might just be me, fortunately my channel is so small I've never been put into this situation so...
