anyone know how to credit the artist(its usually in the bottom right corner of the description on music vids with lyrics "buy "song name" on itunes) so you wont get a "matched third party content" on your videos?

All it is is a simple text effect placed in the bottom of the screen crediting the artist and their work. It isn't too hard, I use Sony Vegas 12 and it can easily be done by right clicking and creating a text effect, typing the text I want, choosing a font and size and where it should be placed on screen.

I think he's talking about something that is in the description, not the actual video. Like this;

What you mean is called 'Content ID'. Basically what happens is you upload a video with copyrighted music in it, then Youtube filters that out and you get a copyright notice, then you can either approve or dispute the copyright claim. When you approve it, the actual name of the original track will appear below your video.

idk if he is right about it, but if you accept the copyright match you will not get a copyright but you will not earn anything from that video.

You could still get a strike when the original copyright holder suddenly decides he doesn't want you using it, but that is not very likely to happen.

Ah thats pretty interesting. I myself always wondered how that stuff got put under the videos, now I know. Will keep that in mind if I ever use licenced music
