How do People Keep on Top of Their Schedule???

Its difficult and some people can this very well. I agree with pre recording. This will save a lot time time and much frustration. Best of luck man.

Simply follow your schedule. Find time to do what you love and use that time.
Don't go out to see that movie
Hold off that extra hour of sleep
Get up an hour earlier
Decline going out to a party.
Otherwise you're just giving yourself an excuse to quit.
There is only so much time in a day and you have to manage that resource.

For me, I schedule a session with my partner, record for about 2 hours or so, splitting them into 15 minute episodes on the fly by using a timer to stop and start the next video. That definitely saves editing time, already have the title video ready to copy into windows movie maker (I know, high end right?) shave off a couple seconds of the video for editing and its fine.

All in all; editing roughly takes me 3 minutes at my pc, then say 20 minutes of rendering which I walk away for. Once I have my videos all rendered up for the week, I upload them all to YouTube as private, which takes a while. After they are done I just schedule them. I try to keep two weeks worth of video scheduled to account for me being lazy, or having other real life things interfere.

But that's just me, I am a disabled vet, so I might have more free time on my hands then most.

My challenge isn't just balancing work and YouTube, it's also balancing it with my marriage. Especially since my husband doesn't understand this whole "YouTube" thing ... lol

Pretty much the same here .

@OP
I just finished a 4 hours recording session on Deus Ex Human Revolution .
That game is so awesome that if i shouldn't need to commetante i would keep playing untill i have to go to work .
So another 3 hours and a half .
But yeah , if you do live commentary it's not that hard . You just record for <insert time> and then render it .
And i see your videos are not that long so you shouldn't have any problem .
