Say I join a network with a 60/40 split and I'm making $100 per month on my channel w/o the network. After joining the network will I receive $60 or do networks get higher paid ads than I would get on my own? Will my cpm/rpm (which ever term) rate increase?
YouTube + Network will be taking money...That $100 you get (which is split with YouTube) YouTube still gets. So, let's just say for example you get 60/50 with YouTube..The network will then take 40% of your 60% that you get already. See what I mean?
Even if the higher paying ads were provided to your channel, they wouldn't even come close to covering what you are losing. The supposed value in a network is apps and support.
