How do I in-lay video teasers into my full videos?

If anyone has seen the Yogscast, OMFGCata, and other like these guys, you'll have seen they have smaller videos that show off other series inside that episode, normally at the end.
I was wondering, how(And with what program) do I do this?

Same program you edit any other video in. Just include the video you want to overlay with. And resize it smaller.

I do this at the end of my videos (and yes I got the idea from those other people).

The way I achieved it was I created a static image with a transparent space left in it for the "thumbnail" size video I wanted to show, I then put this image on the topmost track. Then I choose a video clip to be displayed in the gap. This clip is put on the track directly below the static image and using the track movement screen (Sony Movie Studio) I size and position the clip so it fits into the transparent space left for it.

Most of that process I only did once and saved all the parameters as presets, so now it's just dropping the image and a video clip into the correct places on the timeline.

To be fair, you don't need a static image with a transparent window. Just put the video on top.

It is a good idea to have a branding image of some kind when you're doing a post video roll like that though.

It's called picture in picture. I use it all the time. Most of the free editors also let you do it.
