How do I get rid of the black bars on my video?

Moved to the editing forum.

Do a search on YouTube itself. There are loads of tutorials on this.

If you use Sony Vegas to edit right click on the video go to properties and uncheck Maintain Aspect Ration. That will get rid of the black bars

Ahhhh I got that problem as well and it is because you set the wrong video size. If your actual animation is smaller than the default video size of the program then you need to reduce down the size in the program to fit your animation. For example: Your animation might be 360p (480 x 360) but the video setting is 480p (640 × 480) so when you import your animation into the program it creates the black border because your creation is smaller than the video size. Does that make any sense?

If you use Adobe Premiere you right click on the video and press Scale to Frame Size. If you're filming in 1920x1080, make sure every scene matches that resolution.
