How did your channel come to be?

DeantheDinosauce

Cartoonist/Animator
Mine was a short, simple story:

I woke up one Saturday morning (The weekend before Aug13th 2012) and I was in a quirky mood. My mind was almost forming an idea, and that idea was a channel about religion, although I didn't have a clue how to Flash Animate I knew how to draw stick men and voice-over, so I decided to run with the idea and make my first video over that weekend. When I got up the script partially formed in my head and I just said outloud "This, is Dean". I've have 2 channels before (One for vlogging/software tutorials and one for gaming) and neither of them went anywhere, they run they're course.

I'm fully behind my channel (DTDs) and consider it my place in YouTube.

It's almost 4am here and I'm very tired, so I'm sorry if that paragraph seemed rough.

How did yours start?

I had a channel when I was like 11 or 12. (I know, I was an illegal YouTuber.) On that channel was crappy videos. My friends told me they were funny, but my friends were around my age, so of course we had the same sense of humor.
One day in early 2012, I decided that I wanted to start taking myself seriously as an animator/cartoonist. (Well, as seriously as a teenager could be about animating.)
In fact, i wanted to start over my channel entirely. I wanted to make a new name for myself. My old channel just felt so...wrong.
So, I came up with some "amusing" username, and hear I am now.

Influenced greatly by CoD videos on machinima (nanners/hutch). I never would've found machinima though were it not for my obsession with Halo 3 and Arby 'n the Chief series.

Tried SC2 but just wasn't the same. I went to LoL and loved it.

Looked up a few LoL commentary videos on YT, found Sykkuno, and was very amused. Every other commentator seemed super serious.

I thought I'd give it a shot but mix in more than just the commentary on the gameplay. 2 months later, my channel still lives.

Basically, i was watching a lot of computernerd01 at the time, and i decided i wanted give videoing a shot. He has been the greatest influence on my humor until i recently start watching Tobuscus all the time....now Tobuscus is my greatest humor influence XD

I made a channel back in 2007 and watched a lot of commentators and stuff and then a few months back I worked construction for a while and with the money I bought all the stuff I needed to start gameplay commentaries (tv,xbox 360, hd pvr, pc, headset, and some programs). I made my channel because commentators seem to have so much fun doing it and it helps with developing speech skills.

When I first started I was watching a lot of Angry Video Game Nerd. I wanted to make videos like him so I bought a cheep video editor. I had so much fun playing around with video in the editor I decided to start making my own videos.

I have always been a vlogger. I knew that it would be my thing. I found other vloggers back in 2007 most interesting and they seemed to have content that could last for as long as they did (because it was about their lives) and I thought it would be nice to have someone to share my life with as well in that specific medium. I had 2 channels before this of the same platform. I'm not quite sure what went down in my head to make me think that I should create another one, but I'm determined to stick with this one for sure.

I named it "my fake british accent" because a lot of people that I know find it amusing that I can do what they would consider a pretty convincing accent. Of course, recently, I haven't been creating vlogs with a full on accent anymore. I got self-conscious that I might not be as good as people say I am, but I try to integrate it into videos anyway. :) And, obviously, I don't want to fool anyone into thinking that I am great at it since it's not native to me.

I thought of making an account only a few months ago, I made a youtube account as soon as I began to imagine my account and what it should be like. That one was called JessicaBunniee, somehow I lost the pass for it over time so I decided to make a new one at the start of this month called BunnieRabbott named after a few of my other accounts (and originally from a Sonic the hedgehog series), I also had to wait until my new canon camera came so that was tedious, as was getting the money for it. In the time I was waiting I began to plan my videos. Altogether it worked out quite well. I like my new account username better than the previous one, so I was lucky to lose the password I guess.

Well I just love playing video games so I decided to make a Youtube channel and start uploading videos. My first videos were awful but I think I am getting better :D

Mainly, I just want to share my gameplay to the world whomever wants to watch. Also its kind of speech therapy for me as I tend stutter a metric s...tonne :)
