How accurate is socialblade?

Hey everybody what's going on?

I've been really curious lately because recently my Youtube stats and social blade stats don't add up. And I'm trying to figure out which one is more accurate. I know YouTube is a very reliable source but the number on socialblade are way higher so I'm just trying to figure it all out. I just want some feedback from you guys thanks!

Your socialblade stats are only as accurate as your total public view count typically. I'm sure it watches only that and your sub number. Technically there is not one that is more accurate than the other because it is the same information.

I typically only use SocialBlade to spy on the top channels and see the range of revenue they're pulling it. And man is it a very wide range. So I've only considered SocialBlade to be a very rough estimate.

yeah, I do that too lol on Pewdipie it says he makes like 4 million a year or something crazy!

It feeds false hopes and dreams. Apparently, it's trying to make me believe that by 2020 I should be doing fine as far as growth goes!
