Hooplakidz / BroadbandTV "sponsorship" offer?

I received an unsolicited email today from someone at BBTv. They mentioned a "sponsorship" deal. I keep 100% of my Ad Sense. I'm always leery of these emails but they had me at maintaining 100% of my revenue.

Has anyone had such an offer? What's this all about? What's in it for them? Are they negotiating brand deals on my behalf and keeping a percentage of that revenue?

It's likely a partnership offer with what they call "Adsense pass through", many MCNs offer this to large channels, it basically means that they will only take a % of revenue that they sell for your channel not of sales done by YouTube meaning it guarantees you'll earn more that without a network and they'll be more motivated to sell campaigns for you as they won't get any revenue otherwise.

On the other hand it could be they want you to partake in a once of branded content campaign etc which would not involve joining their MCN but based on the language you mentioned in the OP I'd say this is unlikely.

Sounds a bit sketchy tbh - Sponsorship deals usually don't use language like "you take 100% of the revenue" and are rather more collaborative. Ask for more information and/or to see the contract before deciding. And make sure to read everything they say if you're considering signing it as there might be some binding words in it.
