Highlights vs Everything for Subscriptions

What do you guys think of the "highlights" or "everything" feature for subscription? I hope it is not making channels with less of a following not show up in highlights.​

PotterMoosh made a vlog about this topic just a couple of days ago and I couldn't agree with her more (linked here).
The default of only showing highlights is so stupid. If I've subscribed to people I want to see their videos!

It's not too much of a big deal to me. I just switch to everything and go!!!

But I see your point. Highlights are unnecessary and very comparable to Facebook.

I wouldn't mind so much if it remembered your decision to view everything instead of having to select it every single time you load the page
