Hi guys ! :D what do think about se2200a II ?

I really need microphone to my game commentaries aand i need good mic so... is se 2200a II worth of 200 euros or should i buy at mic or what ? :D
 
It seems like a good microphone but I would suggest something like the RODE Podcaster

It's around £149 and you can get a Shock Mount + Arm for the microphone (also by RODE) and if you get those 3 things you will pretty much be set for any kind of commentary you want to do... you could also invest around £10 into a pop filter which would be good but that's an optional extra once you've got the microphone :)

Ah you bugger! I was just about to suggest that one!

Also OP if you want a quality demo, posting one in just a second when I find it.


EDIT:
Rode Podcaster in a soundproof booth, first time reading the paper I was given. It was also slightly tweaked by a sound guy. Quality is excellent imo.

Wuahaha well I got there first ;) I wish I had an extra £50 when I was looking for my microphone because I would have got the podcaster instead of my Yeti :/
 
Same one I was going to recommend!

In all honesty the shock mount, pop filter, and arm attachments make this badboy amazing.
