I work a lot with YouTube content, and I often need tools to help with editing, downloading, or adding voiceovers. These are a few I feel good about using:
1. CapCut
I use CapCut all the time to edit YouTube Shorts. It’s super beginner-friendly, has built-in templates, and lets me add subtitles, transitions, and effects in minutes. However, some of its features need to be charged. But it can meet my basic needs in general.
2. Canva – For YouTube Thumbnails
Canva helps me design all my YouTube thumbnails, end screens, and sometimes even quick slides for educational videos.
It will be better if there will be more free assets!
3. SameMovie VideoOne Downloader
As a downloader, SameMovie can completely meet my needs. Although it charges for other platforms, it's totally free for YouTube.
4. TTSMaker
I use this when I don’t feel like recording my own voice. It’s an AI voice tool that lets you enter text and choose a voice
