I had a little trouble with 1080 a huge files on my MBP then I upgraded from 8GB to 16GB and the problems went away. Crucial has 16GB for $89 ... was well worth it

My Mac can't handle 16GB. I have a Mid-2009 and the most available for upgrade was 8GB, believe me, I've looked.
