I have a gaming channel, and iv'e had it for a while but I keep deleting the videos because they get like 2 - 8 views. I think that to get big on youtube you have to do something that when people watch they get an interest in your channel and want to share it with their friends. Do I have the wrong idea? Am I supposed to just keep posting videos that don't get viewed much and after a while more people will start watching and subscribing?

There's no need to keep deleting your videos, you are still starting and it's normal to get little views :) Just keep posting videos regularly, in high quality or the best you can and all that and people will come slowly but if they don't have anything to watch they wont subscribe. So keep posting and most importantly have fun!

Dude, don't delete those videos. I had videos only have 8 or so views, but over time they became my most popular videos with like 500+ views.

Deleting old videos is like deleting your history on Youtube.
When people watch my videos, I want them to (hopefully) see that I myself have improved and can deliver better content.

Also, by having more videos they'll see that you are dedicated. Delete only if truly nessesary.

Only delete your videos if you are not proud of it or don't want people seeing it. Like Toxic said, the longer you keep your videos and work to get them noticed, the more views you will receive.

Exactly the same with me. I'm currently getting low views, but hopefully I will get more and like you, when I do get more views and people watching, they will be able to look back at the older videos and see how I have improved.
