I have a channel for less then a year.
It is a technical channel so not the best content around
I was not doing much from Jan to April (4 videos posted) I really strted posting 1 video a week since may. I can now see first few vidos pickink up the pace (over 400% of vies from suggested videos).
I have currently around 200 subscribers and 11000 views
I can see in my channel following breakdown for 06.09-05.10:
- thumbnail views 36k
- CTR 5,6%
- 2k views from displayed thumbnails
- average view time 3,02 (my videos length is from 6:00 to 12:00, majority around 10:00)
- view time 103h
I am expecting several other videos to strt being promoted by Youtube. And my calculations show that I sould reach 1000Subs and 4000h in less then one year and this is with slightly higher numbers anticipated , not taking a snowball effect into account. I am trying to verify if those numbers are any good to build a decent channel with potential to grow.
How did your channel perform at this stage. I am not talking about the channels that came up with real viral videos as my content would go truly viral.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
