Help with my channel art...

MrSkerzzzz

I've Got It
When I try to make a white banner/channel art for my youtube page, the white color is always really dark and looks gray. on photoshop though, it looks fine and white. why is this? can someone tell me what im doing wrong? I tried setting the image in RBG and CMYK colors and that doesn't make a difference. in the current channel art you might notice that "HasGamez" is darker than the "MrSkerz" and I don't know why that is either. I made them at the same time although they are two different pieces in photoshop. again... can anyone tell me how to fix this? thanks!

Im not quite sure but on my end the text looks to have a gradient overlay from left to right in grey to white, check its blending options and see if gradient overlay is turned on :)

it has like everything on. thats how i made it look like shiny metal. im thinking about changing it anyway though because it doesnt match my avatar pic at all. im going to make it look more animated.

In that case then I would lighten to greys in the gradient until theyre almost white. YTtalk uses a lot of whites/greys and on my PC monitor they look perfect but on my girlfriends laptop they look so much darker especially depending on the viewing angle of the screen.

if i wanted to make the letters lighter, i would have to do it all over again because of some stupid photoshop reason so i dont think i will do that. besides, ive tried making other banners that are mostly white background and it looks dark gray but on photoshop, it looks actually white.
