I guess you guys are the people to ask.
The original plan was to do a mash-up of the stereotypical vlogger videos (What's in my bag? etc.) with the twist of playing an original hunter in the universe of CW's Supernatural. Which was all well and good until it decided to spawn ideas of it's own and become impossible to nail down a concept xD
Originally, the idea was a single video, with different types of video in one on my channel. Then I thought this video could link to an entirely separate channel, considering it's set in an entirely different universe, which also could allow me to then make entire series on /that/ channel; such as lore from the show, fan films of various lengths etc. as well as being able to build the channel into more of a community project with people other than just me which could eventually be used to do good in the world (such as raising money for their You Are Not Alone project, if possible). Also, having it on another channel means my personal channel probably won't be affected if the WB (who own the CW) decided to issue copyright strikes for referencing their characters or something.
On the other hand, I'd probably have to manage the channel for at least the beginning, whilst managing my own. Also, I don't plan on a specific schedule for this. It could probably direct people to our channels, but at the same time, that's not what I'm really going for with the idea, it's more building community around a common interest and eventually helping good causes. Also, I've seen that some channels have quite a variety of content and still do really well, so it's possibility it could work.
I'd appreciate any feedback on the idea, as well as any advice you could give me on what you'd do in a similar situation.
