*HELP* Nobody Watches my Videos, i feel they deserve more views!

Hey guys, first off i truly appreciate you checking out this forum.. on that thought, i'd like help on my hobby 'youtubing'
i currently have 5-6 videos ( channel is Youtube/iLiveTwiceHD ) i make call of duty commentary videos, and i truly enjoy doing it! seeing that i received views from people and from people i don't even know makes me so happy... i'm not doing this for the money or anything, it's just i put alot of effort into my video's and i feel they're not getting the proper publicity they deserve.. i'm sure this sounds a bit selfish or such, but i'd like to know from your opinions if i'm doing sometime wrong -- i post relevant tags, i make a good description. my title looks appealing, i have a decent intro, my commentary seems to be fluent / enthusiastic for the most part. please help me out guys, i'd truly appreciate !

CoD is a very well covered game on youtube. You could be overlooked in exchange for more popular channels run by big name youtubers.
I honestly don't care for the game, myself.

Hey man. I just checked out your channel and your stuff's not bad. I honestly think the major issue with you not getting views is that there must be 100 000 other channels out there doing exactly the same thing. I'd like nothing more than to see you succeed but it's like walking into a 10 000 store mall with every store selling exactly the same thing. Put yourself in the shoes of the viewer, why should they watch your channel instead of the next guy? What will make then choose viewing your video instead some popular channel? Please don't take this as any sort of attack on your channel or any other like it, I'm just trying to help. Maybe a niche in game commentary needs to be found, what you want the viewer to think is "Wow, how did he do that?" or "Wow, I want to see this because it's something that I have never seen before" etc.. Just some ideas and my opinion. Wish you the best of luck dude.

thanks man, i truly appreciate the fast reply and the help! you're a good guy, and i know what you mean! my take on your opinion is, if i were to change content into something fresh and original, how would someone go about finding my channel if youtube's search results are based apon views / ratings etc?
Thanks - Greg

You have to use tags and share your videos on social networks and share them with friends ^.^

If you have confidence in your content being fresh and original, I suggest hitting gaming forums, introducing yourself and posting links to your vids, but don't come across as a spammer. Always be honest in what your goals are and how your content can be enjoyable. I've tried this technique and have gotten tossed out of around 10% of the forums I approached, most of them like my content and allow me to re-post, granted my channels pretty small but it would have been smaller if I didn't try. Also try post video responses in other channels if they allow it sometimes viewers will check them out if they peak an interest. Also be active with popular channels who post the same type of content as you.

i've done that! the majority of my views/ subscribers are from friends on xbox! :$ appreciate the quick reply man!

YouTube actually recently changes the way search results turn up, what happens now is the top search results show videos that people tend to watch for a longer amount of time before leaving the video and not by views/ratings.
