HELP! I need to prove commercial rights to my video!

All the music on his channel, he allows for people to use in monetized videos, this is the link to the song I used:
Also, I seem to be getting a reasonable amount of subscribers each day, just a month ago, I had 116 subs, I now have 202, so I don't think my monetized videos are turning people away, maybe for other people it does, I dunno.
Hmm... If he does give permission for commercial use, then I don't know what to tell you :/

And it's views that matter, not subs ;)

Two: "of course" isn't really a good answer for a channel you're size. I always say unless you're getting 3k+ views PER DAY you shouldn't be monetizing your content. It turns people away and if you're still small it can really hurt your growth.

You're seriously advocating not monetizing until someone gets to 3000 views per day? Are you mad? Assuming a very low CPM of $4 and average 50% monetization, 3,000 is where they start making $100 monthly. The idea that you should walk away from half that, or even $20 a month (which will get you a nice microphone after 3-6 months) to meet this arbitrary number lest they scare away the pittance of viewers who aren't used to adverts on YouTube anyways...

Horrible advice.

Then you really don't know much! Ask @Wreckless Eating

You can't claim that I don't know much if all you're going to do is parrot what a big channel says (if indeed Wreckless gave such advice) instead of explaining with logic and fact why waiting until you're leaving at least $100 on the table before you open up to monetization is the way to go. At 2,000, 1,000 or even less channels can certainly pull income. It doesn't have to be much, but when it's the difference between a new camera lens or not, a new microphone or not, the choice is clear. To not monetize until one hits the mystical number of 3,000 views per month is ridiculous.

Hell, take what little income a channel gets and dump it into adwords. $20 a month adwords campaign, is another 2000 views directed at a trailer if the campaign is optimized properly. In my experience that's another 40-50 subscribers. Again I say for the pittance of viewers who drop early because of ads, it is worth it much much earlier than 3,000 views per month.

You said "You shouldn't monetize unless you're getting around 3,000 views a day, all you're going to do is irritate you viewers."

I said no such thing. I usually put the level at 500-1000. I also said that we didn't monetize until we were around 3k views per day, which was due to us not getting in the original partner program until we were at that level. If you want to give out advice, that's fine. Just leave my name out of it. I said the same thing to another forum member who decided to use me to back up stuff I never said.

For the future if you would like to avoid this situation with Youtube, check out sites that specifically say they can be used in Youtube movies hassle free in their licencing agreement. There has been a lot of sites that say you are getting royalty free music but are instead paying to just use it for at home use. A site I know that has copyright clear music is smartsound.com. They are 100% copyright free and you shouldn't have to fill out a form like this in future projects...Copyright can be tricky.
