sorry if there is a threat already but i couldnt get it im confused..
in adsense it says today i got 10 views 4.45euros RPM whats does that mean? that i got 4 euros?

RPM in that context is nothing to do with the RPM network. RPM means Revenue Per Mille. Mille is French for thousand so revenue per thousand views.

It has taken what you have earned from those 10 views and estimated what you would earn if you continued at that rate of clicks and revenue per click. So no it is not actual earnings.

Your actual earning would be the product of the number of clicks stat and the CPC (cost per click) stat for that row.

For an example of RPM, let's say yesterday a channel had 100 total views, with 10 clicks and an average CPC of 5 cents per click. The total actual earning would be 50 cents (10 x 5) and the RPM would be $5 (the channel earned $0.50 after 100 views and so could potentially earn 1000/100 *0.5 after 1000 views)


It's an average based on 1000 views, but like all stats, it's not accurate over a small sample of 10 views.

No, it means your CPM is 4.45.

CPM is basically how much money you get per 1000 monetized views. So for 10 views you might (if lucky) get about... 0.004 cents. :P[DOUBLEPOST=1388252091,1388252045][/DOUBLEPOST]Darn, ninja'd!
 
haha thanks guys i was happy for a minute i just saw my cpc is 0.06 cents lol...ok i got a long way ahead of me! thanks
