Help! Can I fix this without re-recording?

BlacklightDemon

YT Talk's Witcher
Okay so, I just did a live commentary of a scary game and it was perfect! The only problem now is this (See attached file).

I found out that my recording is in the top corner of the screen even though I set it right. Is there any way I could fix this without going back to record again? I know that's probably a silly question.

I only want to keep this original recording because it was good and it wouldn't be the same playing it through again (since I would know when/where the jump scare was) :(

Have you tried to re-render it... in Sony Vegas? If you drag your video file onto the timeline you should see that there is a little box I think it's called 'Pan' something like that not 100% I can never remember the name, at the end of your video. You should see it, there should be three symbols (you can't miss them) You need the one that looks like a box. This will then enable you to sort that problem out.

Woah thats strange, the only thing I can think of is in some editing software you can change the Pan/Crop, this will allow you to zoom in on that area however the quality will plummet :(

If your still using MM, I don't really know, try that new Adobe program and see if that has a Pan/Crop option?

I wish I had Sony Vegas now >_< but thank you very much for suggesting. I would have been so disappointed if there was no fix for this!

The only way to fix this is to use an editing suite and just crop the video. It will cause your quality to drop, but you will save the footage.
