Help. Adwords Video Campaign Views Not Generating Earnings/Clicks/likes ?

Using the youtube video promote feature which advertises your videos through adwords video campaign I recieved thousands of views practically over night on two occassions. But these views have not generated any clicks on adsense reports? They also do not show any estimated earnings in youtube analytics.

I read this on a youtube help page:

  • "Estimated earnings may differ from finalized payments due to various adjustments and do not include partner-sold and partner-served advertising revenue."

    But why aren't clicks showing up on google adsense? Is that the same effect- that they won't appear but they are still generating revenue which I will see in the finalized earnings?

    Another question, why do the adwords generated views which number in the thousands also not generate any noticeable likes/comments/subs? Are they even real views? I really do hope that they did generate clicks/earnings and are just delayed until the finalized payments on the 15th of this month.

    Does anyone have experience using the Youtube promote feature for adwords video campaigns? If so I'd love to hear how it went with you and if you noticed these issues.

There are no earnings from addvertising on YouTube, you addvertise there to promote your page not to earn something. It just gives you traffic boost, views, maybe a subscriber or two.
 
Dude, I advertise to boost my page get views, but those views on my page should be generating clicks on adsense because my videos have ads on them and are monetized. So why didn't the 5000 views I got (due to promoting my videos) generate clicks? According to youtube estimated earnings from partner-sold advertising revenue doesnt show up until the finalized earnings report on adsense, is that the same for clicks now appearing yet on adsense until then?
 
Your videos may be monetised but when you turn them into adverts you don't make money off them. You can't have an advert on an advert.
 
I thought that my advert is just a pathway to a normal youtube view on my channel? Wouldn't viewers still be clicking on the monetized ads that appear on my videos since their monetized?

Or are you saying those ads stop and dont appear if the view has come from my video campaign? Are you sure? Have you tried this personally?

Yes, I am almost certain ads wouldn't appear. I believe its similar to how ads do not run on videos promoted by Youtube's Fan Finder. So ads would also NOT run on an actual promoted Youtube campaign.
And besides, it makes no sense! You're paying money to promote your video as an advert just to get people to watch your video and click the ads on the video. To what? Earn back the revenue?
No offence, but its kinda hypocrisy and Google must know this "loophole", which is why ads don't run on advertised videos.
