I have a dazzle dvc 100 but I'm looking to upgrade to a HDPVR but I only have a budget o f about $70-$80 to spend on one, and they all seem too dear.

Can anyone recommend me a HD recording system within my price range for recording gaming stuff.

Thanks :)

I just use the standard Microsoft software that's free, and even that gives you a 10 minute time cap. Sorry, I don't know. Hopefully somebody else will!

Standard Microsoft Software? What's that

I'm looking for something that will record my tv screen, not an editing program if that's what your talking about ;)

I'm actually talking about something that records your computer screen, a screen capture. It's not the same thing as recording television though, so I misunderstood what you meant. Sorry.

Ah I see. I use Camtasia for that. Is there a windows software that does record your screen though?

I have a ROXIO GameCap. It's great, I'm acually selling the one I have right now, If you want to have this little thing, you may. It's in great condition, only been used like 2 or 3 times. The reason I'm selling it is because I need to save up money for an Alienware™ Laptop. Which are like 2.6k USD.

If you would like to see this little gadget in action, here is a quality test:

Hauppauge HD PVR
Hauppauge HD PVR Gaming Edition
Avermedia HD C281
Avermedia Dark Crystal External HD Capture

Elgato Game Capture HD

I have a video on some of the SD options.
