Yo, people of the web!

So I have a PC & obviously that doesn't get me very far with great quality videos, espcially because I use Windows Movie Maker. Is there any way I can make my video appear HD on YouTube when I use Movie Maker? I use a Nikon to film.

Thanks, Much Love ♥ Claudia X

Yes, if you have an HD camera which I assume your Nikon would be, edit your video and go to save video. From there you can choose what format you would like.
Choose "for high definition display" and it'll save out at 1080p.

However as soon as possible jump on a new editing software or else the learning curve will kill you when you do switch =X

Yep, a simple Youtube search can get you Camtasia Studio, Sony Vegas Pro 12, etc for free.

Just moving this to the Video Editing, Recording, Software and Hardware section of the forum :)

What version of MovieMaker are you using? Click on help >About Movie Maker and look at the version number on the 4th line (not the 2nd line)

Some of the earlier versions (for Windows XP for example) don't have an HD option and you'll have to download a specific profile.
