Have Ideas for skits, but no actors!

Hey, so I'm an aspiring actor an I wrote some comedic skits/sketches and some dramatic/action pieces but unfortunately I don't have the money to hire local actors. I can't even use most of my friends as many of them either live too far or aren't good at acting/camera shy

Would doing these skits by myself, ie; me playing multiple people in different costumes/disguises/playing my own twin brother...would these skits work?

There should be plenty of ppl who would do it for free for the sake of experience. Try filmmaking colleges or colleges with filmmaking classes. They usually have a folder of actors and actresses laying there for students so they can make film projects. You could just ask.

I know the feel! We do comedy skits and it's sometimes hard to just do skits with two people, because we have so many ideas that involve multiple people but we really don't want to play multiple parts. But sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, haha.

Our friends are camera shy as well, and that's why we really can't use them to act, but we can use them in a different ways like as background, or laughter, or voice overs, or someone to hold the camera for us lol.

But yeah, like Alex said, I'm sure you can go to local colleges and try that! Can't lose anything from doing that! Good luck with everything man.
