Hauppauge HDPVR PS3 Ghosting issue

After receiving my HDPVR, I hooked it up with my PS3 and there seems to be ghosting on stuff on the screen. It only happens when the audio cables are connected. It shows up in the Recording Software and on my TV. It doesn't appear when I use the PS3 and the Component Cables and the TV on their own (It does happen in this set up if the Audio Cables are disconnected), it only shows up with the PVR connected.

Here is the difference:
Without Audio Cables connected:

With them Connected:

It is really noticeable in dark areas of games, thus games like Minecraft in Caves and Fallout 3/New Vegas would look horrible.

Now, People have said it's the crappy cables (which they are, the guy I bought them from included them), but it doesn't happen on the TV unless the Audio Cables are disconnected.

So I have 2 Options, buy the Component Cables from Sony which are around €30, or buy an Optical Cable for audio. The latter of the two is what I'm considering since no where in my town sell Official Sony Component cables..

It doesn't seem noticeable in 576i, but it is in 1080i and 720p.

Any ideas before I got blow money on something that can be fixed easily? It doesn't happen if I connect my Blu-Ray player using provided Component cables.

Any help appreciated.[DOUBLEPOST=1388674495,1388669154][/DOUBLEPOST]It's the cables, it seems if they the audio have any connection they cause it to happen.
