Has anybody joined a network yet?

I have been curious for quiet a while now. Has anyone joined a network? Has it been beneficial to your channel? I haven't join one yet and don't know what to expect. I would like to hear some experiences and suggestions from you all.
 
No not yet but I might try to join a network when I reach 5000 subscribers or so (at the moment I have about 3500) I think most networks require 5000 subscribers before you can sign up anyways and IMO it is an okay number. You got to have some audience before it makes sense:)
 
No, never have and never will.
Why would I want them to take a share of my income?
Most post I read about Networks are people trying to get OUT OF THEM.

Thoughts?
 
If you're serious enough to let someone take a chunk of your income to "help" you with your channel, then you should be serious enough to do a little bit of your own legwork and start researching FREE resources that will get you much better success.

Even here alone on yttalk, you'll learn much more and be more capable in growing your channel than an MCN. You can also check out videos from video creators and derral eves for getting down the basics.

Ultimately, your success is dictated solely on the quality of your content (with a sprinkle of luck).
 
I have not, nor do I know if I will ever. Maybe if it seems like a beneficial deal or whatnot. I have heard that some networks aren't as good as the sound. But who knows?

I totally agree. Greatest advice I can receive. You just easily made up my mind, I'm going solo now.
