I've Got It
So everyone is telling me that my voice is sad but heres the think i started YouTube back in 2011-12ish to help with my depression and i was depressed as a little kid but. when i started i became happy and un-depressed but that depressed voice has tuck with me and i dont know how to fix it any ideas tips or anything to start changing my voice back?

Record yourself talking in different ways. Try one chilled, one over excited, one friendly and so on. Go back review them and decide which one you wanna sound like. Editing can also help if you cut out silences and so on :)

From listening to your channel trailer your voice doesn't sound like a depressed voice to me at all. I'm not sure who told you that but I'd say just keep on doing you and try being as natural as possible. A reason as to why your voice might be a bit slower and stifled is because your not super natural infront of the camera/when being recorded yet and that will just come with time.

I'd say be as congruent to how you are feeling that moment as possible and try and not put on too much of an act. I find I relate to YouTubers the best when they are talking and being as honest as they can be to how they are in the moment :) Good luck dude

I major in psychology if that helps and I can assure you that you don't sound depressed at all.

On another note, I noticed your last video was monetized and the intro music sounds copy righted.

I listened to a couple of your videos, and you don't sound sad or depressed. I think you sound a little bit hesitant, but that's really a thing that clears up with doing more and more videos. We all sound a little bit shy and reserved in our first videos until we get comfortable talking a lot, and then it comes more naturally. Don't sweat it...I find people's authentic voices a lot easier on the ears than someone trying to be more peppy or upbeat, which sounds really phony to me.
