You should really use DXTory, FRAPS makes files too big than the have to be.

I have DxTory, but Fraps is much more simplistic and easy to use.

It looks like it at first but trust me its not, JackFrags did a complete tutorial on how to set it up. Believe me its the best rec. program ever.

I know how to use it, it's just I've used Fraps since like 2007, so I don't see any reason to switch over when the only downside is bigger files

I like it cuz it splits the game audio and mic audio in two separate channels so its a breeze to edit.

I just use audacity for my mic :O

I actually keep my source files in an external hard drive. If I ever need to refer to them again I have easy access to them.
