I've Got It
I want to upload iphone gameplays with commentaries , so im recording the iphone gaming content seperately
and recording my voice sepreately with quicktime on my mac , even after doing that i dont really see how i can add my plain voice to the video content and reduce the sound of the content to make my voice audible , and could you also suggest me a better way to record my voice or something to make it easier because quicktimes output for audio is .AICF format , it would be great if you guys could help !

You could download a free piece of software called Audacity, most people use this to record audio separately, then in your video editor just bring the games soundtrack down and your voice up (or leave it the same).

You put the game video + audio into the project, then add your voice track in, right click on the videos sound and turn the gain down. taadaaa.

Youtube tutorials are also very helpful if you still can't do it.

Yea thanks bro , you helped me alot , the problem was using quicktime , i got audacity . One more question though , should i start audio recording before the actual video footage and then edit out the extra voice before the footage . Which should i start recording first , voice or footage?

I would start the voice recording just before you start to record the video. Then to sync it I would just do something in the video like open the menu and say that you're doing it at the same time.

Well , yea i still have to suync it perfectly though at the right point , so it doesnt look unsynchronised
