Guides to Set Up Adsense!?

WTF! I have been trying to get Adsense to work for days now and I see that I'm getting clicks but $0.00 earnings. What the hell did they change?!? Their stupid troubleshooting thing is worthless and they don't have tech support for YouTube Adsense. My Adsense page is showing that I'm getting views and clicks, but $0.00. This is really starting to p**s me off. Does anybody have a tutorial that actually works!? I've followed tutorials the whole way through and I'm stuck at this. Somebody please help, especially if you have recently monetized through Adsense. It was never this hard when I set it up 3 years ago.

Unless you're looking at the right report, AdSense will always show your earnings as $0.

Go to 'Performance Reports,' then click where it says 'Filter.' Scroll down to 'Products' and finally 'Hosted AdSense for Content.'

It (should) then tell you your total earnings, clicks, impressions, and a slew of other useful information. Do note that, for whatever reason, the number it shows is higher than what you'll actually be paid. Multiply that number by .85 and it should be fairly close to the real number.

I see this message, maybe that's what's happening. YouTube analytics show estimated earnings but Adsense doesn't. When I used to use Adsense it showed earnings on the Adsense side.

Aha I think you are right! I do see total earnings and money there. Before the data looked way different. Thanks!

Yes, unfortunately, AdSense changed the way and what information it shows back in April '13. Google's "solution" is to watch the earnings in YouTube's Analytics... although the workaround I mentioned works (for the most part).
