Great 1st video ideas??

Hey fellow Youtubers! :)

I don't really know what my 1st video should I do for my new channel, for my previous channel I just done "Welcome To My Channel" type video all i told was telling people on what I'm going to make on the channel and set it but at the same time it was boring and the quality was very poor in many things like the camera the I was using and it was the 1st ever video that I made.


So do you have any great 1st video ideas everyone?? Should I do a "5 Facts About Me" video as my 1st video or should I just do a normal(and fun) "introduction" video just like most Youtubers that have done on there channel?? And what did you for your 1st video?? :)


BTW I will be making Sketches/Vlogs, Pranks and EPIC and fun challenge videos on my new channel just like on my previous channel but importantly the main thing the videos I will be making will be much more better and definitely be more fun/entertaining and enjoyable to watch you guys should know what I mean. :D :D

I think combining the introduction and 5 things about you would be a good place to start. That way you get your introduction done but its still a video that won't be confined to just being a introduction video.

Our first video was a channel trailer that is now out of date with awful unmixed music on it!
 
For my first video, I made a get to know me video, which was poorly edited. I think you should make a video where you introduce yourself and what you are going to do on the channel, but make it fun and entertaining so people will know what to expect and want to subscribe.

So If you don't mind me asking How do I make my 1st video entertaining and fun(which I am planning to do)?? What do you suggest? What would you do?? I would like to know. :)

I would suggest you talk about some things that interest you, and maybe have some little skit scenes throughout the video. Also having music in the background is a great idea!
 
I would make something that will capture a bunch of attention at the outset, and then go about introducing yourself later on. What usually captures my attention is whatever is on the front page of a person's channel, so if you have a fantastic idea that will grab someone right away, I'd go with that.

I agree with something like this. There should be a few videos of actual content before you do an intro/channel trailer video. One thing I've found is that it can be tough to know what specifically you like to do most until you've experimented with several different styles. So if you tell people upfront what your channel is about before you're really gotten into your groove, then that could hurt in the long run.
