GPS Tracking software?

Hello ladies and gentlemen,
it's the first time I'm asking for help here, so don't be angry if I post it at the wrong place. My question is: Do you know a good iPhone app to track the way I am moving by GPS? I'm doing travel videos, so when I'm in a train or in a plane, I would love to track the exact path that my train or plane went (in the latter case especially when it is taxiing). I need that information to create map animations for my videos.

If you have any ideas I would be more than happy if you could share them with me! Thanks!
Chris

google maps may help, they track you anywhere: androidauthority.com/google-android-location-history-tracking-832849/

use a run tracking app like Strava. I'm not sure how it would work in a plane though. I have a garmin watch and you can actually play back your route and it draws a line on the screen in live time

Thank you for your reply. Well, I really think I might try a run tracking app, maybe it works. It just has to be associated with Google Maps in some way, because I need the exact position of my plane especially on the ground during taxi.

Here is a run I did with Strava. Now that I think about it Strava used my Garmin watch data, I'm sure it works with phones too though. I've seen apps out there that track stuff like this, but the watches go really into depth.

Wow, thanks a lot, I will give it a try!
not sure why the pic came out so small, but there's a lot of data it can give you. My garmin data shows me elevation change, location, gives you either map or satellite mode, and even gives the weather where you were and lots of other stuff
