Hey guys,

Does anyone know if you can make your Google+ account a page rather than a profile from the get go? Or do I need to make an account in one of our names and then make a page using that profile like on Facebook?

I think Google+ had a change not so long back which allowed my channel to utilise Google+ as well as push all video content to the page created. I was not required to add a real name to Google+ then create a page under my name.

I would try Google+ again. Log into your YouTube account and there should be an option to setup Google+. I cannot remember all the steps but it worked like a charm without any of the annoyances from its older version.

Since I made this thread many days ago, I have created a G+ profile and then a business page from there. Thank you though! :)
