YouTube Partner Promotion is part of YouTube’s ongoing effort to build audiences on behalf of the entire Partner base. To date, YouTube has promoted videos on your behalf by programming placements across watch pages, search pages, and other in-product areas. With the launch of this program, YouTube is adding a feature that may extend viewership of your videos further through offsite placements on the Google Display Network.

The feature will pull from your most engaging videos and automatically create advertisements to display across contextually relevant websites within the Google Display Network. And that’s a lot of eyeballs - the sites that comprise the Google Display Network reach 92% of the Internet population. When someone clicks on the ads, they will be brought to your channel and videos where they can view more of your content and become regular visitors.

The best part of this feature is that all of the ad campaigns are fully funded and managed by YouTube. Eligible partners are automatically enrolled, but you can opt-out at any time if you wish. Learn more about the YouTube Partner Promotion program by watching the introductory video or reading the program’s Frequently Asked Questions.

We would like to give you opportunities to drive brand awareness, increase the visibility of your content and in certain circumstances drive traffic to your video(s). In order to do that we need you to agree to the following terms, in addition to the regular YouTube Terms:
  • We may use excerpts of your content for promotional purposes across Google services (i.e., the Google Display Network), in any ad format now and hereafter created;
  • You own all commercial use rights in your content such that the content can be displayed in any form as an advertisement off YouTube;
  • You acknowledge that Google is not obligated to use your content in any YouTube Promotion, and the results of such YouTube Promotion are not guaranteed;
  • You are still responsible for the content of your videos (whether or not YouTube promotes those videos), and any videos or excerpts used or included in ad units are subject to the YouTube Advertising Policies;
  • These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, USA and any claim or dispute between you and YouTube that arises in whole or in part from this promotion shall be decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Santa Clara County, California.

So the Question is:

Does anyone use it yet and has seen an Increase in/Decrease in Views/Earnings/Likes/Dislikes/Dumb Comments?
