Google Adwords?

Hey YTTalk!

I was just wondering if any of you had tried Google Adwords or any of the Youtube advertisement services to promote your videos. If you have, did that work for you? If you haven't, why not?

I have used Adwords because I had and Adsense account and they mailed me a 100$ gift card to it. Adwords brought me about 1500 views to a video for 100 dollars!
 
AdWords usually only works if you're looking for every specific traffic and lots of it. With a small budget you won't get much out of your dollars.
 
Interesting, I didn't know I could use Adwords for YouTube videos. Well, actually, I guess I did know that, but I've never tried either. I would like to hear from someone using YouTube promoted videos, though.
 
Ive used Adwords multiple times. Once i received over 40k views on my chubby bunny video and just last week i received over 5k views on my latest video. Adwords is pretty good if you know how to create a decent video ad and use the right tags

thats awesome!! once i get my next paycheck, think im gonna try it out :) how much money are we talking here?

Well i do $0.01 CPV which means im paying $o.o1 everytime someone clicks on my video ad and watches my video. I did $10 and within two days got 1k views on a video but then some other times ive only received 200-800 views. Just depends on the Ad, make sure the first 5 seconds are really interesting.
