Google AdSense Invalid Activity

How common is it to get a invalid actively email from Google. Is this common for YouTubers? I filled out an appeal.
 
Does it say what type of illegal activity has occurred?

I have had similar (but a warning) for Adsense on regular web pages, where I clicked on ads to get the address to ban them.

So I suspect it is related to click bombing in some way. Someone at a specific IP address is probably multiple clicking on videos to get revenue up.
 
Hi Xynudu, it doesn't tell me much. "In your case, we have detected invalid activity on your AdSense account and as a result it has been disabled." I did click on ads on another of my YouTube accounts.
 
That sounds like it - they are very strict on this activity, and will have those accounts cross linked to your bank account.

You had better have a pretty good reason for clicking your own adds.

In my case they could see I had banned the clicked adverts and probably understood why I was doing it.

They have probably seen similar "maintenance" blunders before from newbies, and they let me off.

Clicking your own ads is very bad news, so I hope you get a reprieve. Not a good scene to be in.

Unfortunately most likely you will lose your chance to use Adsense ever again and also the ability to monetise whatever channels were using the Adsense account.

Your best bet will be to make a new channel and partner it with a network, I recommend doing this even if you have an active Adsense account to protect your channel and Adsense account.
