Good songs to use in YT videos?

so i dont like using the same songs in my videos, but i also dont like all of that upbeat trap music. i like music more like Like "Apollo - jimmysquare", "Marshmello - Keep it Mello ft. Omar LinX", "Luke Christopher - The Waiting Game", "JPB & MYRNE - Feels Right (ft. Yung Fusion) [NCS Release]"

So I thought if you guys had any cool songs like that in your inventory of non copyrighted music, it would be great if you could share them :)

NoCopyrightSounds has quite a few beats, just be sure to credit them in the description. Also if you go to youtube, click on your channel icon, go to creator studio, and then create and audio tracks, you can find a whole bunch of genres and moods that you may want.

Kevin Macleod (aka Incompetech) is a good guy to turn to for non-copyrighted music. All you have to do is credit his work. I'm one of his business associates (If people ask him if he does sound effects, he refers them to me).

One day, I asked him how his music is safe from Content ID matches and he said he has a special deal with Google where he puts his music in a "special little box" where anyone who uses the music will not have Content ID matches showing up on their videos.

My favorite tracks to use are Wagon Wheel, Lively Lumpsucker, Four Beers Polka, and others. I'm a comedy gamer, so I use a lot of polka, waltz, silent score piano, and medieval music in my videos.

I've moved this to the Scripts, Script Writing, Video Ideas & Planning forum. ^^

Yep, I'm the go-to guy in his site's FAQ for anything related to sound design and sound effects. He sometimes gets asked if he does sound design and now he has someone to refer people to. :)

I contacted a band I like on their Facebook page and they gave me permission to use their music in non-profit videos. It was really cool! Maybe if you like some bands that aren't very popular you could do the same. Check out your local scene and stuff. And definitely follow the advice in the posts above for license-free music.

Good luck!

That's really cool. Yeah, if you can get permission from someone, do it!
