Good games for single person commentary?

Loving YTtalk
Hey, I was just wondering what the best games for new a youtuber would be. I'm going to start doing single commentary because I haven't had much luck finding a collab, but what game should I play?

On the 24th I will be doing the new civilization game (hopefully) but I was wondering what games are most popular on youtube. Of course I have to play a game that's not too popular because there would be too much competition.

Any ideas?

Don't look for what's most popular, that's how to NOT get views. If everyone else is already doing it, why watch the guy with no subs than someone with millions? Try playing newer titles that no one has heard about. If someone notices a game on steam, they might look up some gameplay on YouTube. If you're one of the few that recorded some gameplay of it, you're in luck!

Also a bad way of doing it.

Just play what you like. Honestly, if you're going to be an LPer, you need to show people what games you like to play most. Simply playing games you like, that you feel you can talk through, will work WONDERS for you. You'll be much more talkative, you'll be informative, and probably entertaining enough to warrant the subscription.

If you like Zelda, play Zelda. Chances are, if you really like the game. You'll bring your own personality to the table which is ultimately what people will subscribe for.

op asked a question that pertained on how to get more views.
If you're just doing this for fun, then play whatever the hell you want.

Good SEO, branding, and content will go a long way for whatever kind of content you would like to make. Though if you're not having fun, you might as well stop. There's no point to it.

Guys I understand that I shouldn't play the most popular games, I also understand I should play games I enjoy. Lets mix up what i'm asking to something more direct, what do you guys most enjoy watching?

A good game for single commentary would probably be either an RPG or a large team based game so your viewers can feel immersed in the story or they can see what other players are doing.
