Good Free Screen Recording Software

MT22 CIWS 13APR008gfh.JPG Ok so I just remembered that my video of my gun shooting down a drone missile is not complete on Youtube. I originally uploaded this video to Myspace because I didn't have Youtube at the time. The video on myspace actually catches sparks coming off of the missile near the end. For some reason when I did a screen capture from Myspace, it cuts the top of the screen off. I forget what program I used, but I need one that will capture the WHOLE screen. Here is a picture of what is missing from the video.... It is pretty fast, but it is pretty awesome to see the sparks flying off, it looks like a shooting star.

There's a lot of programs you can use. Most free ones however will leave a watermark on the top if you're okay with that. I think you can use Windows Media Encoder but I'm not positive if that's the software I'm thinking of. Anyway there's a bunch of posts about this on the forum that you could try. If you don't care about the watermark go for Bandicam or Camstasia.

Not sure about Afterburner, but if you do get OBS, then you can also enable Intel Quick Sync which speeds up renders.

I agree with OBS, I would use that more for streaming though. I would highly recommend ***** catcher it is a very good wuick full screen recording software and the quality is good to look it up :)
