Good free editing software?

Hello YTtalk, again!
I promise, this is the last thread today. I am buying an HD PVR Gaming Edition to record my gameplay from my Xbox 360. I will be recording commentaries using Audacity. Can anyone recommend a good software which allows me to edit the HD PVR recorded gameplay (most likely CoD) and the Audacity recorded commentary together?

I'll give you a tip. Check out the Video Editing Software List on the sticked topic at the top of this forum. There you will find both commercial and free software for Windows, Mac and Linux.

And if I were you, I would rather asked which one of the following softwares that is best.

you can always use what your computer came with.. if you have windows.. windows movie maker.. if you have mac imovie.. you can look into lightworks its open source and free and should do what you need it to do
