Good exporting format?

Hey guys, question...

I have seen a lot of people on Youtube (moreso more popular youtubers) have videos in 360p look a whole lot clearer than my videos in 360p... yet I have an HD camera, so it must have something to do with the exporting format, right?

for example:

looks a lot better in 360p than

The first video only goes up to 720p, wherelse mine goes to 1080p... however both set to their maximum qualities the first looks way crispier.

How do I make it look better? Is it bad lighting? Is my camera not good enough? (Canon Vixia HFS30 HD)... Or is it how I export my videos, which is usually MP4 at 15,000kbps? I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 so if you know a better format do tell...

Thanks!

I think they also use good lightning, better camera and better software to make the videos look more awesome.
Think about that :)

Doesn't really answer my question to well... what sort of exporting format would be better? and what angle of lighting if so?

I guarantee you that the cameras funnyordie is using are better than yours, and I'm not trying to be mean I'm just saying that they are a company and probably are using $15k+ cameras ATLEAST. So yes the video will look better than yours. The format that I use to export my videos are .mp4 and I set the settings to 1920x1080 at 24 frames per second, render settings at best, with highest pixel ratio (as well as highest whatever settings your program offers).

As stated above, lighting is EXTREMELY important and helps make a video much more clear as well as making you the subject pop out from the background. A great led row light that is cheap yet delivers the same quality lighting as prosumer leds is a CN-160 (google it).

Hope this helps ya out man!

I can't really help you with format etc., because I don't do real life videos so I don't know what effect each format has.

Ah, thanks man. The quality should be the same though if it's such a downsized format but lighting definitely plays a bigger role. As well as focusing.

From my understanding mp4 was made for lower bitrate video. I like mpeg2 and I usually do VBR with a target bitrate of 15mbps with minimum 5mpbs and max 20mbps.

I use a preset export from Premiere Pro called Youtube HD/Youtube 1080P. In H.426 format.
HDTV is also a good export preset.
